Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter for a 6+ month contract, remote opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting principles and experience with Autocad Mechanical. As a Mechanical Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that support our client's engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical support mechanical design projects.
• Drafter will also be required to run costing for updated/created designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure precision in designs.
• Create/Test blocks as requested.
• Create and maintain documentation for design processes, including technical writing for manuals and specifications.

Experience

• Proficiency with AutoCAD,
• Experience with GD&T principles is essential for ensuring accurate designs.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and manuals.
• Previous experience in drafting roles or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
