Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating and programming CNC machinery. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines and presses, and generate CNC programs.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of machined parts.
• Program CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for efficient machining operations.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently within the manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in production processes.
