Manufacturing Engineer

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision-engineered metal and thermoformed products

  • Support new product introduction by creating efficient workflows, tooling, and process documentation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and shorten lead times

  • Collaborate with design engineering to ensure products are manufacturable while meeting quality and regulatory standards

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations

  • Lead validation activities for new processes, equipment, and tooling

  • Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, work standards, and process documentation

  • Partner with quality, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver products on schedule and to specification

  • Identify and evaluate new technologies or equipment that enhance production efficiency

  • Support training of production staff on new processes and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline)

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (medical devices or precision manufacturing preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of process design, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods

  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, metal forming, plastics/thermoforming, or related manufacturing processes

  • Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO 13485 or FDA experience a plus)

  • Proficiency with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions
