Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision-engineered metal and thermoformed products
Support new product introduction by creating efficient workflows, tooling, and process documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and shorten lead times
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure products are manufacturable while meeting quality and regulatory standards
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations
Lead validation activities for new processes, equipment, and tooling
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, work standards, and process documentation
Partner with quality, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver products on schedule and to specification
Identify and evaluate new technologies or equipment that enhance production efficiency
Support training of production staff on new processes and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline)
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (medical devices or precision manufacturing preferred)
Strong knowledge of process design, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, metal forming, plastics/thermoforming, or related manufacturing processes
Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO 13485 or FDA experience a plus)
Proficiency with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions
