Lead quality initiatives from concept through launch to ensure product and process excellence
Serve as or qualify to serve as a DMIR per 14 CFR 183.31
Run cross-functional investigations and CAPA to achieve real corrective and preventive results
Reduce defects and improve yield and throughput with data-driven projects
Design and implement QA methods, control plans, test and inspection procedures
Maintain accurate documentation, metrics, and management reports
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers across the lifecycle
Support and improve the QMS to meet AS9100 requirements
Mentor peers and model curiosity, accountability, and ownership
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in aerospace quality engineering, or 10+ years in aerospace manufacturing quality
Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100
Familiar with configuration management and product lifecycle practices
Proficient in FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DOE, SPC, and MSA
Proven track record leading cross-functional improvements
Eligible to work with ITAR-controlled products and data
Background in aerospace or automotive manufacturing
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
Precision machining experience
APQP exposure
Knowledge of brazing and welding standards
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009
