Precision CNC Machinist

Overview
This role supports precision manufacturing operations through the setup and operation of Swiss-style CNC lathes. The position focuses on producing high-quality components in a low- to medium-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC lathes for precision component manufacturing

• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet print requirements

• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues with limited supervision

• Support lower-quantity production runs with a focus on quality and consistency

• Maintain a clean, organized, and detail-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Recent experience with Swiss-style CNC lathe platforms

• Experience with Citizen-style machines preferred, with openness to comparable Swiss platforms

• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, including GD&T

• Experience machining stainless steel alloys

• Strong mechanical inspection and problem-solving capabilities
