This role supports CNC milling operations by developing, improving, and maintaining machining programs in a collaborative manufacturing environment. The position also contributes to manufacturability considerations for new products and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Develop, document, and support CNC machining programs for milling equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support daily production and project needs
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, tooling utilization, and cycle times
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and implement corrective actions
Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, delivery, cost, and safety
Assist with validating and optimizing machining processes during program rollout
Contribute technical input for new product introductions and process changes
Work with production personnel to prove out programs and refine machining techniques
Research and recommend equipment, tooling, or process enhancements as needed
Help train team members on equipment operation, setups, and interpreting technical documentation
Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership to meet schedules and priorities
Perform other related duties as required
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
3+ years of CNC programming experience
Experience programming multi-axis CNC milling machines
