This role is responsible for creating and maintaining CNC programs for multi-axis machining centers, with a strong emphasis on turning operations. The position supports both manufacturing and quality teams by developing reliable, efficient machining processes across milling and lathe equipment.
Create, revise, and optimize CNC programs for 3- to 5-axis machining centers, including lathes
Provide programming support for turning and milling operations in a production environment
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams on machining processes, equipment, and tooling
Prepare CNC programs and related documentation to support production readiness
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and implement process improvements
Support continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and throughput
Assist with fixture and tooling design to support machining processes
Manage multiple programming and production support tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with NX CAM required
Hands-on CNC lathe programming experience required
Strong manufacturing and machining background
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles
Experience developing machining processes for multi-axis equipment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
