CNC Programmer

Overview
We are seeking a CNC Programmer to support machining operations in a precision manufacturing environment. This role will focus on developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs while working closely with machinists and engineering teams to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and/or turning operations using CAM software such as Mastercam.

  • Set up, test, and validate programs on CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling, speeds, and feeds.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to create accurate machining programs.

  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to improve machining processes and reduce cycle times.

  • Troubleshoot and refine CNC programs directly at the machine when needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CAM software.

  • Experience programming and supporting CNC milling or turning equipment.

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles.
