Manufacturing Controls Engineer
REQUIREMENT: US Citizen or GC HolderPosition Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Controls Engineer experienced in building, commissioning, integrating, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate understands the complete machine — electrical, power, controls, networking, PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
Controls Programming & Integration
- PLC programming: Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff
- HMI/SCADA development: Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC
- Robot and automation integration: Fanuc, KUKA, ABB
- MES and industrial network interfacing
Machine Build & Commissioning
- Electrical assembly, control panels, I/O wiring, and equipment integration
- Read and verify electrical drawings and specifications
- Perform FAT/SAT, machine bring-up, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues
Production Troubleshooting & Reliability
- Rapidly troubleshoot live production equipment
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent countermeasures
- Improve equipment uptime, reliability, MTTR and MTBF
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Strong hands-on manufacturing automation experience
- PLC programming and electrical/controls troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and work directly on production equipment
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
