Beacon Engineering Resources is a national provider of engineering consultants. We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Inside Sales Representative who is polished, self-driven and is interested in working in a highly successful staffing firm that supports a healthy work-life balance.
Our ideal candidate will thrive in an outbound, inside sales environment and enjoy calling on both existing and potential customers (engineering managers) to fully assess their staffing needs. You will qualify potential new clients and present the benefits of Beacon's technical recruiting services.
You will be responsible for building and cultivating a database of engineering managers from the medical device, aerospace, automotive and consumer product sectors; tracking their engineering staffing needs, and positioning Beacon as a preferred vendor. The role entails phone/email marketing, customer support, and, ultimately, the placement of high-caliber engineering consultants.
Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Keen qualifying skills.
  • Exceptional people skills.
  • Strong computer skills required- MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet research.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Must be personable, goal driven and energetic.
Preferred:
  • BS degree highly preferred.
  • Previous inside sales or customer service experience preferred.
